Early 90's Pinarello Treviso frame/fork, 50cm (Page & Midland) $150

This is a used Pinarello Treviso road frame/fork. It is in fair shape and will need overhauling, new paint and decals. It is a 50cm frame with a 52cm top tube (all center to center). It has a standard 1" threaded fork. It is constructed of Columbus SL tubing.

As you can see, the frame has several areas of minor rusting and the decals are cracking and peeling. The water bottle braze-on bolts are also stuck and I didn't want to apply too much torque to get them off. The only other issue is a small pea-sized dent on the right chainstay, near the BB. This is minor and was likely caused from a chain derailment problem.

The Shimano 600 headset and bottom bracket are also being included but are not likely salvagable. The fork threads seem to be OK. Seatpost diameter is 27.2mm. Please note that this frame will require some elbow grease to get it to pristine shape again. I believe I've priced the frame accordingly.

I also have an early 90's Shimano 600 parts group available. Search for "5904" in Craigslist to see my posts. Other photos and specs are available upon request. I give priority to those who set appointments and arrive, not to phone messages or e-mails.

I'm asking $150.00.

This is a used early 90's Shimano 600 and Mavic Open 4CD complete 700c road wheelset. I'm asking $100.00. It is in good shape with only the following issues: Flat rear tube, small tear in rear tire, one slightly bent spoke on rear wheel, and some general wear and grease.

This would make a great training wheelset or the primary set if you're planning on building up a more "retro" road bike. I have other parts from the same bike available. See my other CL Bicycles posts by searching for "5904".

It has polished Shimano 600 hubs, dark gray Mavic Open 4CD rims (straight & true), and a Shimano 600 8-speed cassette. Skewers and tires are also included. Skewers do not match and neither do the tires.

I am in the process of turning it into a motorized rat rod but the 40+ year old wheels are a little to warped and the spokes a little to fragile to try and straighten. Ideally, I am hoping to find a front and rear with single fixed gear with a coaster brake. I really don�t want to spend the money on a new set, so a used set a little better than what I have now would work out just fine. One has a flat, but tires are in great shape otherwise as are the brakes and overall appearance of each.

Rare Vintage MARUKIN 10 speed road bike (Maryland Heights) $100

This is a vintage 10 speed Marukin brand road bike with a gorgeous blue, yellow, and red frame. Bike also sports a gel cushioned seat. It has a Suntour AR II derailleur and cantilever brakes. Cosmetically, there's about an 8" section on the right portion of the top tube where someone rubbed the paint off (leaving rust behind). Other than that really there isn't much rust to speak of. Front wheel needs new bearing and bike could use tuneup and new tires.

Top tube length: 22"

bottom bracket to top of frame: 23"

standover height: 33"

With just a little tune up work this should make a great road bike.

THULE Roof Bike Rack w/ 2 Fork Mounts (Maryland Heights) $225

For sale is a Thule roof rack system with the older style 400 Aero Foot pack (preceded the XT/XTR but same fit kits). Nice used condition with normal minimal wear. The load bars measure approx. 50" across.

Mounted on the THULE are 2 fairly new YAKIMA fork mounts. Certain Yakima applications can adapt to Thule. If you think this might look tacky, the Thule name on the fairing is only faintly recognizable anyway. The right one is the Yakima Copperhead which sports a 44" tray. The left is a Yakima Cobra which simply holds the rear tire and locks the fork (adjustable to different wheel base lengths). Purchased new these alone value at $150 plus! The Copperhead would adapt back onto a round Yakima load bar but the Cobra may not b/c I removed the round bar tab. Cobra manual included. SKS lock cores on both sold separately.

Stickers have been removed, but you can still see outlines of where they were in some places on the fairing.

FIT KIT INFO:

A fit kit is what allows this rack to adapt to your vehicle (matches the contour of the roof..etc). You simply need to find the Thule fit kit # and you can purchase that online or at a local outdoor store. Just go onto the website and follow the steps.
