Own the business aspects of the ACH applications including understanding all features and functionality of the software recommending enhancements and upgrades as applicable. <br>
Monitor the NACHA rules changes and communicating to all impacted parties. <br>
Manage personnel including interviewing, hiring, disciplines and terminations. <br>
Establish yearly developmental goals and annual performance reviews for staff. <br>
Ensure department procedures are adhered to and updated regularly. <br>
Develop, monitor and report key operational metrics. <br>
Oversee appropriate access rights to ACH software and payment files. <br>
Drive resolution of outstanding items and process improvement. <br>
Coordinate misdirected funds collection efforts. <br>
Compile and provide documentation to support internal, SAS 70, and external audits. <br>
Develop strong relationships and respond to ongoing NACHA rules quesitons. <br>
Lead, manage, or participate in various projects.<br>
This individual will serve as the company's ACH expert on various process improvement proejcts.  They will enhance and maintain the documentation of poilicies and procedures related to NOCs, returns, misdirected funds, collections and daily operations.  They will work with information technology group on application improvements and daily maintenance.<br>
<br>
The selected candidate must understand the customers' needs and recommend enhancements and new ACH and depository services as appropriate.  They will be responsible for leading continuous business process improvement.<br>
<br>
Qualifications include strong problem solving, critical thinking, project management, communication, decision-making, negotiation, customer service and relationship building skills.<br>
<br>
Requirements include:<br>
   Bachelors Degree or related experience.<br>
   8+ years experience working in a financial institution.<br>
   Significant experience working with a commercial ACH processing software program.<br>
   Specialized training and experience in the ACH area.<br>
   Previous management experience.<br>
   Strong MS Office proficiency, database experience preferred.<br>
   Experience working with large/multiple originators<br>
   Knowledge of NACHA rules and government regulations for EFT services.<br>
<br>
AAP certification is desired, along with project management and financial service industry experience.  <br>
<br>

This person determines potential risk areas and conducts file reviews; oversees corrective action taken by management to address fair lending and compliance deficiencies, provides tailored training, and conducts follow-up reviews to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of corrective actions taken. Duties and Responsibilities:

-Responsible for adherence to all compliance programs, including but not limited to, completion of all required and assigned compliance training modules by established due dates

-Understands and complies with requirements of all laws, government, investors and agency regulations applicable to position

-Schedules and performs fair lending reviews (including underwriting and pricing comparative file reviews or regression analysis) to determine the level of compliance with fair lending laws

Ensure all loan applications are reviewed and processed as quickly as possible in compliance with Investor Guidelines.

- Support and advise Team Leaders in underwriting assessments and decisions.

- Resolve problems with documents and drive additional information requests.

- Work closely with Underwriting and Closing/Funding departments to ensure completed files are prepared and routed. 
<br>
- Oversee turn-around times, prioritize, and drive quality assurance 
<br>
- Identify and resolve non-compliant loans; work with Loan Officers and staff to resolve problems and issues to meet conditions and move loan to Funding. 
<br>
- Approve conforming loans. 
<br>
- Monitor pipeline for over-90-day period; assess delayed loans and resolve problems or cancel/decline loans; finalize close-outs on old files. 
<br>
- Work with other departments to resolve problems after loans have closed. 
<br>
- Finalize audit issues on processed loans. 
<br>
- Supervise work planning, prioritization and assignments for the loan officer teams; establish standards and monitor accountability. 
<br>
- Provide training on new product offerings, guidelines and matrices as well as hands-on guidance/mentoring to Loan Officers. 
<br>
- Ensure timely performance management (this includes reviewing and approving work; managing rewards and disciplinary action; driving conflict resolution). 
<br>
- Participate in interviewing and hiring decisions; promotions and demotions; and termination of non-performing employees. 
<br>
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to achieve Gorman & Gorman Home Loans long-term growth. 
<br>
- Track, monitor and prepare report on departmental goals and objectives. 
<br>
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief of Operations.

The Quality Assurance manager (QA Manager) is responsible for providing clear and useful written and verbal feedback to program staff and managers about quality assurance data. The QA Manager will actively illicit information and feedback from program staff and managers about program functioning, and then work with program managers and staff to help them come to value program data as a source of helpful feedback about program effectiveness. The QA Manager works collaboratively with program managers to systematically target areas for improvement, help design improvement strategies, and develop a system for monitoring the intervention’s effectiveness. <br>

ESSENTIAL	FUNCTIONS:<br>

1.	Quality Meetings<br>
a.	Prepares data and surveys into reports and distributes to each unit regarding quality improvement; develops mechanisms that ensure integrity of data.<br>

c.	Develops curriculum and provides periodic training to staff on quality improvement team roles and process of quality improvement.<br>

a.	Tracks program data and prepares reports for each unit, and the Board of Directors. <br>

d.	Conducts longitudinal outcome studies where appropriate.<br>

a.	Coordinates and facilitates process for utilization review of programs, including sampling, assignment, training reviewers, and tracking completion.<br>

QUALIFICATIONS:<br>

Areas of Responsibility include , but not limited to;  Collection Performance ,Staff Development ,Support Collector Training,  Auditing, Reporting and Communication with all levels of management.<br>

Specific Duties<br>
<br>
Collection Performance and Administration Responsible for goal attainment and overall collection performance for department. Manage results of daily collector activity; Be visible and available for support with account handling. Maintain proper staffing and training. Establish collector goals.<br>
<br>
 Staff Development and Support,  Maintain high-caliber, experienced collection team. Efficiently manage Large Balance inventories. Motivate staff to improve and reach higher levels of performance, Keep turn-over to a minimum through quality management, skill development, recognition, rewards, and feedback. Develop leadership in collection staff with Assistant Manager, Leads and Supervisory positions to support department.<br>

 Collector Training, Implement comprehensive training program to promote effective collection techniques and maintain compliance with all relevant rules and regulations (FDCPA, HIPAA, etc.)Evaluate individual collection techniques to identify areas for improvement, Provide on-going training and refreshers to continually improve individual collection effort<br>
<br>
 Auditing, Reporting and Communication, Regularly review collector inventories and audit specific accounts Provide feedback and training based on results of audits. Report statistics and pertinent information to management, Troubleshoot and communicate issues for prompt resolution<br>
<br>
  Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years collection management, Proficient computer skills, Effective written and verbal communication skills, Team player with supportive and motivational orientation, Commitment to continuous improvement evident in attitude and work performed. Duties include but are not limited to:<br>
•	Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them. <br>
•	Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all service department staff.<br>
•	Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the service department.<br>
•	Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the factory.<br>
•	Attends managers meetings.<br>

•	Keeps abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommends purchases.<br>
•	Ensures that the work areas and customer waiting area are kept clean.<br>
•	Establishes and maintains good working relationships with vocational and technical schools to enhance personnel recruitment activities.<br>

•	Ensures the proper care, storage, and inventory of special tools.<br>
