<description><![CDATA[Hi!  I'm a single mother of one who is testing the waters to see if anyone would be interested in renting out my extra bedroom.  I would prefer a female, around my age perhaps.  Nonsmoking, no drugs (on the premises- I honestly don't care what you do on your own outside of my house!).  Social drinking not an issue.<br>

I live in a very quiet, very nice subdivision in a one story brick home with a four car driveway, full basement with a half bath, large fenced yard, nice patio.  We have one small dog and two friendly cats.  My son also has a hamster who stays in his cage in my son's room.  I'm not opposed if you have a pet, but they must get along with kids and other pets.<br>
<br>
We have digital cable with dvr, internet access, full size washer and dryer, house full of furniture, XBox 360, and are very close to everything.  Less than a minute to Hwy 55.  10 minutes to downtown. 5 minutes to Hwy 270.  15 mins to West County/Manchester.  Lots of places to eat, shop, and entertain yourself very close by.  <br>

Your rent gets you the largest bedroom/master, you may take over the half bath downstairs if you like or share the full bath with us, and free access to the rest of the house.  Utilities will be negotiated- likely less than half.  I would even be willing to talk about you renting out the entire basement, if it suits you better.  It is not finished, but could be dressed up rather nicely. It also has the half bath. There could be a locking door at the bottom of the stairs, and there is an exterior door at the top of the stairs that you could use to come in and out.  You would be welcome to use the shower/bath and kitchen upstairs.  Basement already has cable tv, as we are using it as a family room/den at the moment.<br>
<br>
My son and I are quiet, private, and prefer someone similar.  No partiers, drugs, or loud/insensitive people.  I will respect your right to your privacy and you may come and go as you please, as long as you respect my home.  Not looking for someone who is going to have their boyfriend stay over 5 nights a week (wanting ONE room mate, not TWO), listen to loud music all hours of the night (kid has school, I have work), leave trash/personal belongings all over the house, etc.  <br>
