I have had him tested for mites and he doesnt have any so thats not it so it must be from the stress. The vet told me that it is kind of like an obsessive compulsive disorder because he will always do it and will never be the same bird that he used to be before the stress occured. However, he is still a sweet guy. He can whistle the andy griffith song and isnt a fan of being held, but he will sit next to you and chatter to you.
The other male, Woody, is a beautiful bird and he loves to be held. Not so much on your hand, but hes a big time shoulder bird. He will sit on your shoulder and talk to you all day long if you let him.
I've been looking for a home for them for about 8 months now as no one wants to take them as a pair. They are a bonded pair (yes males can bond to eachother, just not a breeding pair obviously), but they do love eachothers company so I would REALLY prefer that they stay together. Both of their favorite treats are millet and they really dont have many toys right now, they had NONE when I got them. Theyre cage comes with 2 clear bowls, 2 wooden perches, and a seed skirt. the cage itself has a plastic pull out tray, 2 big doors with one little door on each big one, a small door on each of the sides, 2 small doors on the front bottom, 2 small doors on the front top, and a handle on each of the sides near the top.
Price is negotiable as I'm most concerned about them having a good home, but I am asking $120 for both of them, the cage, and all accessories. I'm not sure who posted this ad on craigslist but whomever did has alot of false information. I was not given a $1000 sugar glider. I haven't recieved any glider for free.. I don't know who Cindy Crites (the breeder is) I've never even met her or gotten any leu glider from her. She traded another women (Paula Corbett) this leu male glider for 2 chihuahua puppies NOT ME. I bought this sugar glider from Paula Corbett unaware that there was a contract. I was trying to sell the glider to get what I paid for him and all supplies when my son wouldn't leave him alone and kept getting scratches all over his body.. However, when I found out about a contract I contacted the women I got him from and returned the leu male to her for a full refund.. I also contacted the breeder and let her know that I did so and told her if she wanted to get him back to contact Paula (the women she gave the sugar glider to). So.... I did not sell the sugar glider to anyone in Dupo and I didn't try to scam anyone for $1000. I was just trying to get back the money I spent on him and all supplies. Plus, the only reason he had a female with him is because they do better in pairs and I didn't want him to get lonely. I was told that I could contact the breeder and get him neutered for $50 which I planned on doing until I ran into complications and could not keep him homed with me. I did nothing wrong and now all this false information is being put all over the internet for all to see. I would appreciate it if you would get your facts straight before posting things about me. I should also let you know that I did print out a copy of this listing on craigslist about me and I'm taking it, along with all emails that I've gotten from the breeder and all the emails I've sent to my lawyer tomorrow... I also printed out everything that is posted with my name and email address that is listed anywhere on the internet and will be taking all those to my lawyer as well. I'm truely sorry for getting you all involved. I was unaware that there was a contract involved when I purchase the sugar glider from the women that the leu male was given to. I've done the right thing and returned the sugar glider and contacted the breeder and told her to get ahold of her to get him back if she wanted.. She's treatened to file charges against me and everything. She should be trying to contact the women she had a contact with and stop posting and trying to get info on me. She is the one that has the glider NOT ME.... I've done nothing wrong. So sorry again to all those that she has contacted.

This is a legal and binding contract between Cindy Crites
(Sugar Glider Emporium) and Paula Corbett (Feather and Fur) for the
trade of One Leucistic male Sugar Glider in exchange for
2 chihuahua puppies. The puppies were picked up on 11-24-08
and the male sugar glider will be delivered to Paula when the
glider is 6 weeks of age, which will be approximately the
last week of December, with the understanding he will
continue to be hand fed. The only stipluation between Cindy
and Paula is if the glider can no longer be homed with Paula
he be returned to Cindy.

My parents promised me a tank for Christmas just as long as I do all the hunting, so I am looking for a 40 gallon or bigger, with a good width. I am needing it for my turtle. I do not need a stand, lights, or filter.



I am also looking a 10-20 gallon for my baby cichlids. My other 10 gallon broke, and they are kinda cramped in my 5 gallon.



I will be wanting pictures of both tanks and measurements of the bigger tank so I know if it will fit on my stand I have now.

We have happily found really great homes for a few of them, but we still have some that we really need to place before next weekend. We have had a few people SWEAR they were "coming first thing tomorrow" to pick some of them up and then they don't show, answer the phone or emails etc... so PLEASE give it serious thought before you respond. We really love and care about these guys and its hard enough to have to let them go, but its very very stressful when we think they are going somewhere great, to be loved forever, only to be let down. They are all utd on shots. We are asking for a small $75 rehoming fee to ensure the best of intentions and hopefully won't see them back on here for rehoming!

Maisy is a super sweet eleven week old golden retriever/collie mix. She is all black with a collie face and golden retriever fuzzy soft hair! She has been wormed and is working on housebreaking. She is still very young though and does have accidents. She will need shots again at 6 months. She is very gentle with kids and adores other dogs.

Sammy is a 4 month old male lab pup and is a FANTASTIC little guy! He is so playful...loves tug of war (he and Maisy play all the time!) and just running around and having fun! He is a loveable little guy that LIKES baths! He is mainly black with white patches and feet. He is so cute! He is about 85% housebroken...he does VERY well if kept on a good potty schedule!

Hershey is a very large 2 year old Chocolate lab. He was actually a friends dog that was dumped on us lol He got too big for her small apt and it was supposed to be temporary, but he is still here! He is completely housebroken, utd on shots and microchipped. He is a super large teddy bear! Wonderful with kids and other dogs AND tries to make friends with the neighbors cats! I’ve taken them to the SPCA {no kill} in 4 counties, I have placed adds in every type of media possible, searched hundreds pet stores that would not sell them as snake food and talked to all the people I know that rescue small animals. To date I have found homes for 230
wonderful rats and all free to good homes. I’ve been given 10 days to find them homes, or the County will take them from me. These 80 sweet guys and girls will wined up in labs, or youthonized. My landlord will either put me out with the rats, they will be picked up. He has gone to the health department and to Court.
I don’t have a choice as I am 63 years old and disabled. I am asking you to find it in your hearts to adopt, or help find homes for these guys, as always, I don’t want any money for them, just good homes. The landlord will let me keep 4 males, but that’s all. This is really a bad time for me, I’m worried to death about my babies.

Grace is roughly 2 1/2 years old. She *loves* other dogs, and has always lived with cats and doesn't bother them. She is generally very friendly (sometimes a little shy or nervous, but never aggressive) towards adults. I’m pretty sure you could saw her leg off and she wouldn’t bite you. She loves children and was raised with toddlers. She knows how to sit, shake/paw, stay, lay down, go in the kennel, and can roll over (though it takes some coaxing). She doesn't always DO these commands, but she knows them. :) She has been known to fetch, on occasion. She does not chew things other than her chew bones, except when she's left alone uncrated (the key is to make sure she's crated when you leave her alone). She is housebroken, unless you leave her alone uncrated. She is a great watch dog and will monitor the comings and goings of all of the family members. She's very high energy and could literally play and run all day long. I wish I had a yard for her, because walking doesn't really work out all of her energy. I bought a treadmill for her to run on, but she's terrified of it. I'll give it to you if you want to try again with her, it's an old used one but works fine. Grace is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and is current on heartworm / flea and tick preventative. She had been going to Veticare prior to their closing.

Unfortunately, Grace has some separation anxiety issues. If you leave her alone, (i.e. to go to work) she gets very agitated. She used to actually hurt herself trying to get the door open if you even went into the bathroom without her. She's a lot better now, but the overall issue of separation anxiety still exists. If you leave her alone in the house, uncrated, she will be destructive. That said, she has a kind of nobleness of spirit, I'm not making this up. She'd be the dog that rescued the children from the fire. She'd be the dog who pulled the old ladies to safety in a flood. She would be a great dog for a family with a yard and another dog to play with, or for a stay-at-home parent or disabled / retired person. She is large enough to be a crime deterrent for you if you want to take her jogging at night. She is a good dog but isn't happy where she is now.

If you wanted to meet Grace, we live right near Tower Grove park, or I could come to you somewhere, within reason. I'd give you her leash, collar, crate, bed, the treadmill, remaining heartworm / flea & tick meds, treats, medical history, rabies tag, toys, etc. I don't personally want a rehoming fee for her, but in order to weed out people who would get a dog and use it for pit bull bait or sell it to a medical lab or something, I'd like a $50 rehoming fee and I'll either donate it to a local dog rescue or give it back to you in a year.

Gannon is a 3 year old neutered and housebroken male. He is for the most part well behaved, lots of energy and wants to play with all he meets. He is all black with a white diamond on his chest.

Both are current on their shots until 2/2010.

Both dogs are inside dogs, they are crated when we leave them home

These two are great dogs, they need a home where they can get more attention than we can give them.

He is in a cage on a chain. He is there 24 hours a day. I go back there often and check on him. We tossed some began strips in the cage today for him to eat. He has not eaten and he has no water. He ate the strips.

The guy caught us giving the dog water today and yelled at us. We took a glass and put it through the bottom of the cage.

The dog is so thin. He does not walk very well. He needs help.

I have called everywhere. The humane society, APA, the police, and several rescues. There is one lady is helping but she is in Cali until Wednesday.

What can we do? How can we get this dog out NOW. When is St Louis going to grow up and help animals. Please someone help this dog NOW.

All he is sleeping on is an old cushion. It looks like it has mildew on it. The first 3 pics were taken today. Anyway, She said this cat (I think she described a 1 year old calico or tortie?) is sick. She said it lives next door to her.

The "owners" claimed it. Then it got sick, They now say "That isn't my cat"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

From the sound of it, I think she has a respitory infection. She said the cat weezes alot. Shes afraid it is going to die this winter, Stuck outside with no food/water/shelter, While sick. She claims that she does give it food sometimes. She is not allowed to have it in her home. She lives with her parents.

People always contact me with animals, I help as many as I can. When I can't help them, I try to find other people to help them.

She lives in Arnold. So if you can go get it, GREAT! But I live in south st.louis city. If you want to pick it up from here, I can have her boyfriend bring it up when picks her up. He lives right down the street from me.

The aquarium measures 24W x 12L x 16H. It has had some minor melting damage to the exterior trim and light fixture, and the glass top was broken. The metal stand is in good condition and I can throw in a watering bottle, food bowls, some hamster/gerbil food and treats if you want them.

I also have a heat light bulb that sells for about $18 new that I will sell for $5.
