One of them has just moved out, and the other will be moving out by the end of December. So, there is one room available now, and another will become available Jan. 1. I'm looking for current students or young professionals who are friendly, relatively quiet, tidy and respectful to take these spots. The rent is extremely reasonable at $292/mo. and our landlady has kept it at this amount since I moved in back in 2003. The room currently available is about 13.5' by 10' and has 2 windows that look out onto the backyard. There is a $250 security deposit and you would be responsible for your share of utilities (internet, electric, gas). <br>

The house has nice hardwood floors everywhere except for the kitchen and bathroom, and plenty of storage space as there are numerous closets around the house, in addition to the basement storage areas. There is a washer and dryer in the basement which you would be free to use. The house has 2 couches, a TV, a fireplace, and a couple tables (kitchen, common area), but otherwise is sparsely furnished, so you are welcome to bring furniture if you wish. The neighborhood is safe and fairly quiet and within short walking distance of a couple parks (Heman and Mooney) and close to the Loop as well. <br>

The furniture includes a stack of cubes for storage, a dresser, night tables, and a full size bed. This room is $400 a month, and you will have to pay a $250 security deposit. You would also be responsible for your share of utilities (internet, electric, and gas).<br>

The second room has french doors, and can also come fully furnished depending on what your preferences are. This includes tables, bed, and other things. This room has a big closet right across from it. This room is $300 a month, and you will have to pay a $250 security deposit. Ronnie's Movie Theater is right across the street as well. It's located right on a stop light so there's no heavy traffic to pull out or pull in the apartment. It's located in a wonderful neighborhood, every neighbor welcomes everyone! Never had any problems! The apartment is a one bedroom apartment but it's perfect for that hard working single person, a new couple, or the college student. It's a very spacious apartment with a large walk-in-closet in the hallway. The living room is built with the dining room and is very well porportioned. The kitchen is small, but has everything you need to cook a good meal. The bedroom is a perfect fit to the apartment, as everything you need will fit in it. The bathroom lies between the kitchen and the bedroom, and is perfect sized for a new couple or one person. Everything in the apartment is paid for except electric. There's a swimming pool located in the facility in case one wants to swim. This apartment is located directly across from the laundry room so there's no having to go outside in the cold, blustery weather to do your wash. It's $510 a month for this perfect one bedroom apartment. The lease is until January, however, you may renew the lease if you like the apartment that much. In order to sign the lease, you must have a credit check and a check stub available. Cats are allowed in the building, however, dogs aren't. Depending on what furniture you want or need, I may be able to include some furnishings with the apartment. A stove, and refrigerator are included however. It's a 10 minute drive to Webster University and St. Louis Community College - Meramec. It's about 20 minutes on Hwy. 44 to Downtown, Washington University, SLU, etc.<br>

The apartment is on the second floor, has central heating and air, a dishwasher, a sink disposal, a balcony with sliding glass doors, lots of natural light, a full bath tub, lots of closet space, good cabinet room in the kitchen, brand new carpet and paint, and a full size oven and stove.<br>

The Leasing Office right across the parking lot from the apartment is connected to a club house with a big screen TV, DVD library, a pool table, a foosball table, and a party area. There is an outdoor swimming pool right outside the club house. There is a laundry room connected to the club house and leasing office with about 15 washers and dryers. Wash $1.25 and Dry $1.25. Parking is ample and free for tenants and guests. <br>

This apartment is REALLY nice, so I am sad that I am leaving. The maintenance is quick and responsive; the property manager is really nice as well. I have absolutely no complaints about the apartment, I just have to move to Illinois, and so I need to get out of my lease.<br>

We live in a beautiful two story brick house. There is a lovely garden in the back with rocking chairs and a front porch swing. We have 2 furnished guest bedrooms in our newly renovated house that we rent out to international students here to learn English in an ELS program, or visiting residents / DRs who are on rotation, or PHDs who are in town for short stints of research. We live very close to the metro and bus lines. Our visitors have worked or studied at Wash. U., Barns Jewish Hospital, UMSL, Forest Park Zoo, and Monsanto. All of them have had an easy time getting around town without a car. If you do have a car there is free street parking available in front of our house.<br>

My husband graduated from Wash U with a PhD in chemistry and now works for a local law firm as a patent agent. I am a doctoral student at Covenant Seminary. We have no children, but we do have three little dogs - Yorkies (Miss Potter-7lbs., Olive-5lbs. and Henry-9lbs.). They are caged at night and when we are not home during the day. I promise you that you'll just love them, they are cute and cuddly and not loud. The shared parts of the house are cleaned once a week by either myself or a house keeper.<br>

<description><![CDATA[I'm a college professor in St Louis that has just purchased (as of early October 09) a brand new condo/loft at Crown Loft Condos.  The condo came with brand new furnishings including washer/dryer in the master bedroom closet.  It is a very quaint, homey place.<br>
<br>
I will be out of town during summer 2010 from May 15-Aug 15, and I'm looking for someone that needs a temp living situation during the summer 2010 who would be an ideal caretaker.  It seems to me that the ideal person(s) for this situation would be anyone making a transition and in need of a dwelling for 3 months...either out of towners who are relocating to St Louis and would like to live here first before settling on a place permanently...or someone you is local and who is recently been displaced from their current living situation.<br>
<br>
Before describing the place, let me say that I only want responsible, considerate, and financially able persons to contact me.  Not a big fan of being a 'pseudo-landlord', so the more credible you are as a potential tenant, the less work I have to do and thus the more attractive you are to me as a possible caretaker.  No smokers, no pets, no drugs...violation of any of these would result in immediate termination of any short-term subleasing arrangement.<br>
<br>
Regarding the condo itself, you have gated parking, access code entry into the building, and you are in close proximity to Forest Park, Central West End, the hospitals along Kingshighway, SLU and Wash U, as well as downtown.  I've rollerbladed and jogged to Forest Park...very convenient for someone that likes to maintain their fitness level.<br>
<br>
Inside the condo, you've got 2 sofas and a chair in the living room, 46 inch HD TV, 4-seat dining table, hardwood floors in living room and kitchen, carpeted bedrooms, large kitchen with huge island bar, frig, microwave, dishwasher, and as mentioned above a washer/dryer in the master bedroom closet.<br>
<br>
The finishings are extremely nice throughout the place.<br>
<br>
I do have cats, and though I keep the place clean and though the cats will be coming with me during the summer, I only mention this because some people are highly sensitive to pet dander...and as such, I wanted the buyer to beware just in case you happen to be one such person.<br>
<br>
There will be a $1000 security deposit that you would have to pay upfront in addition to your first month's rent of $1800, and I will do a background check on you through your employer and past rental agencies as would any regular rental situation.<br>

<description><![CDATA[i booked two nights  (THURSDAY AND FRIDAY) at the hilton via priceline, and since then, have lost my cat. i'm choosing to stay in chicago and search for my cat, rather than spend two nights in st. louis. i paid about $64/night, plus taxes, and cannot cancel or change the reservation. i'm hoping someone will see this and think, "hmm, two nights in a luxury hotel sounds nice!"<br>
