GoAhead Solutions has a great opportunity in Creve Coeur, MO for a Computer Operator. This would be a four month contract opportunity to start out.
There are two different shifts to choose from. -11pm - 8am -12pm - 8pm

Computer Operator

Job Responsibilities:
Perform application and operating system surveillance for ~2,500 globally-based Windows and HP systems. Perform Corrective action tasks to restore service for clients subscribing to Company services. Distribute software packages using proprietary and off-the-shelf utilities. This includes distribution of Microsoft operating system security, operating system and anti-virus packages. Assist front-line client-supporting staff in identifying and resolving complex application and connectivity failures. Liaise with regional staff to ensure databases and central system devices are processing real-time data and that all emergency procedures and service restoration documentation are updated accordingly. Responsible for reporting service outages and documenting events and service outages in accordance with established procedures.

Required Skills:
-Strong Windows operating system (including server) experience.
-Working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP, including IP addressing, routing, multicast technology, and troubleshooting.
-Experience with administrating Windows-based systems in an enterprise environment.
-Great communications skills; interpersonal skills
-Must be a team player as contractor will be working in a team environment

Desired Skills:
-Working knowledge of TivoliManagement.
-Technical writing skills.
-Strong verbal, interpersonal and troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of Financial Markets.

Education Requirement:
-College Degree is preferred
