OTHER INFORMATION
Sanibel Island is located about 10 Miles southwest of Fort Myers, and is connected to the mainland at Fort Myers beach by a causeway. The toll is $6 to enter the island, and free to leave the island. Because of this it is often wise to limit the amount of trips taken back and forth.

The closest airport is Southwest Florida International Airport, which is a 20 minute drive from the Island. Numerous scheduled and charted flights fly into the airport daily. All major car rental agencies offer shuttle service from the airport to their rental depot.

Groceries on the island are served by two major grocery stores: Jerry's fine foods and Baileys. Jerry's offers a delivery service to your suite if requested.
