I have not washed a load in a full cycle in it, but have plugged in the water hoses and turned it on once and noticed that it works.
I had my own washer/dryer set prior to me moving in; therefore, I have not connected the washer to use permanently.
Washer appears to need a deep cleaning. Other than that, based on its model, the lack of wear n tear on it, this might be a steal of a deal.
If you can haul away the Tromm drawer that no longer dries or want to get it fixed and use it yourself, then you can haul off the Amana washer along with it for FREE. I'm keeping and have been using the Amana dryer. Based on how good the Amana dryer has been working for me, the washer should be in excellent/like-new condition as well.
This set is in the basement and will need to be transported up a small flight of steps. I have a dolly and straps so therefore I can assist with the move of the washer OR both the washer and the malfunctioned Tromm LG dryer to your vehicle.
Our Saint Ann community-wide garage sale is going on this weekend. This might be a good chance to grab this washer and dryer and visit garage sales in the area as well.
