Pablo Picasso vase reproduction from his museum in Barcelona - $39 (Ballwin / Wildwood)

It has a very tactile oatmeal off-white color matte finish over which was theen applied a classic Picasso design of a face, most of which design sets itself off against the matte base by using a glossy dark navy blue paint but with one eye [ on the viewer’s left side of the face ] which is also navy blue but in a matte finish.
The Italian form of "sgraffito", or "scratching", involves scraping lines in the top layer of color to reveal the different color below which reveals a design in that underlying color, in this case the whitish lines in the navy eye on the left side of the face. Very novel and very attractive.
In perfect condition, it is 6 ½” tall and wide, 3” ‘thick’ from front to back. The opening at its top is an oval 1” x 1 ½ “. There is a piece of felt attached to its bottom to protect the surface on which you might place it.
