The seller has been fortunate to have traveled to over 160 countries and enjoyed picking up printed art to frame at home, to send as greeting cards to friends, or just to relive memories. The cards for sale are in the first group photo.
Art from other cultures often carries motifs, colors and color combinations, and illustrations of life in those places. Especially the novel use of colors makes them great home adornment.
This collection of pieces is from MONGOLIA and northern CANADA.
All pieces have been stored in a clear protective envelope and are in perfect condition.
UPPER LEFT card is from Canada by the Inuit artist Kenojuak Ashevak ; the reverse side of the card has full information about her. Its size is 9” x 6”.
UPPER RIGHT and FOREGROUND cards are from Mongolia, a place with fascinating landscapes and an ancient and intriguing culture. The foreground card was inadvertently photographed ‘upside down’ and the markings are done in a ‘cave art’ style.
The upper right corner card is 6” x 8 ½” and the foreground card is 10 ½”x 5 ½”.
