This is an amazing piece. It is SOLID and strong and heavy. Probably 35 pounds. There is no way it will fall over on a child.
It has a dry erase board on one side and a chalk board on the other. There is a nice ledge on each side for crayons, markers, and paint brushes.
There is a compartment on top that can hold a roll of butcher paper. The paper can hang down, over the dry erase board, and the paper is another art surface to use for child masterpieces.
The design is practical as well as eye-catching — Pottery Barn is amazing. There are decorative knobs near the top. It really is a stunning piece.
This was lovingly used by our children, and it could be an amazing addition to another play room.
Pottery Barn no longer carries this model. They have a less attractive one now (included in the attached pictures), and it is much more flimsy when you compare the two of them (see the picture with the $199 price on it). This piece was over $300, but we are willing to pass it on to another family at a deal.
