Moorings Yacht Club at Lake of the Ozarks… These are dockominiums. You actually own your slip and a deed is recorded in Camden County, similar to owning a home or a condo. The development is now run by slip owners, and no longer run by the developer/investor. There is a board, only slip owners that run the development, same as a condominium. Have a 10‘ x 24‘ slip for $20,000 and a 10‘ x 28‘ slip for $24,000. The annual assessment is approximately $2175 paid per year. Assessments are due every April. This gives you the right to use all of the Moorings amenities. This includes use of the clubhouse that has restrooms, showers, kitchen area, sink, microwave, TV, pool table, sofas, and washers/dryers. Outdoor pool and patio area has barbecue pit, tables and chairs. Concrete boat ramp too. Premise is gated with push button access only. Cameras around the grounds/docks for security purpose. Docks have Wi-Fi, water, electric and are sprayed for bugs that is included in your dues. You are allowed to sleep on your boat. Water to the docks is turned on in the spring and shut off in the late fall when the temperature drops. Many people sleep on their boat on the weekends or through the entire summer. Docks and grounds are maintained and repairs are covered by the development. The Moorings is now in the process of having major improvements like a wave break installed and three docks are being rebuilt. Remaining docks are being improved as needed. No property taxes on your slip, that is included in your dues. The development is a little gem in the heart of Osage Beach. Literally 2 to 3 minutes off of Highway 54 on all blacktop streets. Right by the Grand Glaize bridge and couple miles away from the new $320 million Oasis at Lakeport amusement/waterpark and Marriott hotel development that is currently being built. The proposed new casino development is only 10 minutes away too. Dock is in no wake cove. When you motor out of the cove, you are immediately in the no wake section of the Grand Glaize arm that is enforced by Water Patrol from Memorial day through Labor Day on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to official sunset. Slips can be leased if wanted for an investment I currently have 10‘ x 28‘ and 12‘ x 28‘ slips available for long-term rental too. You can put your own hoist in the slip if so desired.
