This name seems to bring up a connection with baseball favorite Cracker Jack but online research debunks that. No connection.
However, there is a strong connection to St. Louis as seen in the branding lettering on the side of the box. I can find plenty of mentions, mostly legal filings, concerning the company from 1903 and 1904, but no beginning or ending date of the firm.
The box has been in the family since ‘I-don’t-know-when’ but now it’s time for it to move on. Its dimensions are 18" wide x 8" tall x 7" front-to-back deep.
One thing I’ve learned in posting so many things on Craig’s List is that the famous big, national
re-sell sites have crazy ridiculous prices for identical things that regular folks are selling for a realistic price.
The first three photos in this ad are of the item being sold here; the rest of the photos are screen shots from those ‘national’ re-sell sites. You decide.
PLEASE LOOK AT OUR OTHER ITEMS FOR SALE by clicking on the link “more ads by this seller” in a blue font type under the map image on this page and to the right of the group of photos for my posting.
We live near the intersection of Clayton and Clarkson Roads in western St. Louis County and are very flexible on when and where we can meet.
