This Heller tableware was designed in the 70's by Vignelli and is so popular its till made today.
Heller's iconic dinnerware design was originally released in 1964 by Lella and Massimo Vignelli in Italy and won that year's Compasso d'Oro award for good design. It swiftly became a touchstone of modern design and has been called an "icon of sixties utilitarian chic." In 1971, manufacturing moved to the United States. Made of durable hard Bakelite plastic. Stackable.
This set is from 1977, given to me by my aunt as a house warming present. Now I'm moving out of my 4th house and ready to downsize. Set has signs of light use. -no chips
