Panda Garden 4" White Porcelain Ceramic Vase - Bamboo Design, Chinese - $8 (St. Louis)

A small white glazed porcelain ceramic vase, with bamboo (green), Chinese characters (black), and author seal (red). Bamboo and bamboo-patterned items are considered lucky or fortuitous gifts, with connotations of flexibility and achievement as well.
Used - excellent condition. There is a small circular nick in the bamboo above the first line of characters, but based on the glaze, this flaw was original to the product and not a sign of later wear. There are also slight natural variations in the white glaze. There is a streak of unglazed ceramic on the inside of the vase; while not visible, it can be felt from the inside and may be porous.
