Hi, this is for a 2000 Bowman Mark Buehrle #69 RC. The card looks clean and pack-fresh (see pictures). Mark is a 5X All-Star, 4X Gold Glove Winner, World Series Champion, He pitched a No-Hitter & a Perfect Game! A local MLB Great that had an elite career.
Mark was born in St. Charles, Missouri, and attended Francis Howell North High School in St. Charles.
He played the majority of his Major League Baseball (MLB) career with the Chicago White Sox, playing twelve seasons for the team and winning the World Series with them in 2005. Buehrle also pitched for the Miami Marlins and Toronto Blue Jays.
Buehrle pitched a no-hitter against the Texas Rangers on April 18, 2007, surrendering just one walk to Sammy Sosa who was then picked off at first base. Two seasons later, Buehrle pitched the 18th perfect game in baseball history against the Tampa Bay Rays on July 23, 2009.
