Anheuser-Busch Collectors Club 2002 Lidded Stein “Busch’s Inn”
Busch’s Inn, built in 1914, was the first restaurant opened by Anheuser-Busch to promote a European dining experience where beer was served along with fine meals.
The stein shows the Inn with exposed timbers, a clapboard roof, and a traditional sign of good fortune, a stork and stork’s nest atop the roof. It also shows other neighborhood sights, a livery and blacksmith’s shop, homes, church steeples, plus residents and tradesmen going about their daily business.
The stein al features 2 typical Busch’s Inn patrons in work attire alongside the stein’s handle. And inset in the steins pewter lid is a close-up view of the Inn itself.
The stein is numbered #10552 – CB21 and is approximately 9 1/4” T x 5” W x 6 1/4” D
Stein has never been displayed, is in perfect condition inside and out, in original box and packaging in excellent condition (only removed to be photographed) with Certificate of Authenticity pamphlet
