Anheuser-Busch Collectors Club 2006 Lidded Stein “Budweiser Today”
This stein is based on a mid-1950’s print ad campaign that featured the slogan “When you know your beer…it’s bound to be Bud”. The unique 3-sided stein showcases 3 different ads from the series in the Anheuser-Busch Archives. One side a couple share a bud while barbecuing. The center of the stein shows a grocer pulling cans of Bud out of a box of groceries. The 3rd side features 2 golfers about to enjoy a Bud after the 18th hole. Each ad encourages consumers to serve, order, and enjoy “Budweiser Today”.
Other features include the vibrant sunburst from the 1930’s vintage Budweiser neon sign along the stein’s base. The pewter lid has the A&Eagle trademarks on either side of the lid, as well as the Budweiser bowtie logo in its signature red reproduced as the stein’s pewter thumbrest. The stein’s handle features an A&Eagle bottle cap design on both sides.
The stein is numbered #10900 – CB36; and signed by the artist Don Curran and is approximately 9” T x 4 1/2” W x 7 1/4” D
Stein has never been displayed, is in perfect condition inside and out, in original box and packaging in excellent condition (only removed to be photographed) with Certificate of Authenticity pamphlet
