This 1977 Dodge B200 3/4 ton Royal Sportsman Maxiwagon is well optioned and plenty virgin.
Not running or driveable today but that is negotiable. Read all for specifics, please.
440 engine w/Torqueflite transmission.
3.23 9.75" Dana limited slip rear axle with 5 lug wheels.
Factory trailer towing package with a Reese receiver that I added. (It only towed a HEMICUDA once traveling a mere 100 miles.)
Power steering and front power disc brakes.
Dual air and heat.
Sunscreen rear glass.
Cruise control.
Two tone paint.
The engine or transmission seem to have never been apart or out of it.
The paint is almost all original.
The tan insert on the passenger side was painted below the rearmost quarter window and on the two kissing doors.
Some copper around the right rear wheel opening was also repainted, both before my ownership.
That paint effort just described above was the only paintwork it has ever had after it was built at the St Louis assembly plant.
Underhood decal states it was originally equipped with chrome wheels and the decal is still legible and in place.
While the exterior has suffered from exposure, this van would be hard to replicate and is a true find for the right person.
The engine ran smoothly though it hasn't been started in about 8 years due to a stale fuel problem.
The transmission always performed flawlessly.
It comes with a new fuel pump, disc brake pads, and front brake hoses.
Also included are remanufactured front calipers and alternator.
The engine oil and transmission fluid were both changed at regular intervals.
This van is a great candidate for a full restoration as it is stock, largely complete, and mostly intact.
I haven't seen one of these after a full restoration ever so this could make a one-of-a-kind tow vehicle for someone!
While this body style was an iconic presence in the 70s and 80s, few had the 440 and even fewer exist now.
When did you last see or hear of one? If so, was it as complete and virginal as this one?
Also worth mentioning is that there wouldn't need to be a lot of difficult parts chasing for this one's restoration.
It wouldn't take a lot of effort to get it drivable again either and that is an option.
It's not a Mopar Muscle Car, I know, but vans and wagons seem to be more and more popular lately with few worthy pieces to choose from and prices going up. Many feel the Dodge models are the most iconic and desirable so we'll see. You could ALSO argue that this is the GRANDADDY OF ALL DAJIBANS! (Look up Dajiban and be entertained if not enthused.)
Purchased in 1985 w about 50,000 miles on the odometer, it now shows about 137,000 after 40 years of ownership.
Questions? Please ask.
It's located and can be seen in the Saint Louis Missouri metro area and has been in this area its whole life.
