Over the years we have had the pleasure to hear many center speakers and without a doubt the Gallo Reference center is in the top 5 best centers speakers we have ever heard at any price. This is one of the highest resolution center speaker we have ever encountered . Since 65% of all on screen dialog comes out of the center speaker it just makes sense to invest in the best quality center speaker you can. When you get to this level of quality in a center speaker you are no longer straining to hear people who are whispering even when there are bombs and collisions going on all over the screen. Another stand out attribute of this speaker is the incredibly huge soundstage it produces. We have had several customers mention that when listening at night when they could not use the main speakers it was hard to tell the main speakers were not on because the Gallo center produced such a wide and deep soundstage.
The Anthony Gallo Reference center is a 5 driver 2.5 way speaker with what Gallo refers to as CDT tweeter that produces 120-degrees of horizontal dispersion. To each side of the tweeter are a total of 4 5"stainless steel balls that hold 4" carbon fiber cone drivers. All of the drivers are mounted to a cast aluminum "column" that is hollow to help the woofers produce more bass. These speakers are not some made to a price point speaker everything is quality products, drivers and manufacturing and it shows in the quality of sound it produces.
