Some of the roasters include: Dean Martin, Bob Hope, Joe Namath, Jackie Mason, Carol Burnett, John Wayne, Dom DeLuise, Jack Benny, Don Rickles, Bob Newhart, Flip Wilson, Jonathan Winters, Nipsey Russell, Milton Berle, Rich Little, Foster Brooks, Ruth Buzzi, Lucille Ball, Jimmy Stewart, Gene Kelly, Orson Wells, Phyllis Diller, Henry Fonda, Dan Rowan and Dick Martin, Redd Foxx, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Jimmy Walker and many others. The disc's have been played/tested and they play perfectly.
A warning on the back of the dvd box states - Warning: Some of the jokes and ethnic references heard in these roasts would most likely not be allowed on network TV today. Keep in mind the tenor of the times, the bawdy party atmosphere, and the fact that many of these celebrities were friends who loved to give an take a good shot. The cigarettes are real, the drinks are free, and the camaraderie is heartfelt.
