This vintage canister is marked “Ransburg Genuine Hand Painted, Indianapolis, Made in the U.S.A. This canister shows wear consistent with its age, but the lid comes off smoothly and is properly sealed and aligned with no dents present in the piece. Piece is missing the knob on its lid, unless it was intended to be a string holder as one is listed on ‘Laurel Leaf Farm’ online. This is a great old piece and would be a nice addition to a collection of vintage items, measures 7” in diameter and 7 ½” tall. Asking $8. Pick up in South St. Louis City, 63109 (about one mile from the Ted Drewes Frozen Custard that is on Chippewa).
