FRANCINE BY GORMAN LARGE LITHO ....Wonderful gift, #Vintage...42 years young!
This picture was by Native American artist RC Gorman (1931-2005) who loved to paint women in vibrant colors and fluid forms. Emphasis is often on graceful hands and feet. This was done for for the New Mexico Music Festival at Taos in 1981. The art is from a painting called "Francine".It is in perfect condition, framed over glass.Still looks great throughout. This is NOT a modern reproduction. It is on heavy paper and the colors a vibrant blue and purple.Signed R. C. Gorman c 1981...signed in the art before litho was made, and included the copyright symbol.
