Hattie is an 8 year old 13.3 hand grade paint mare with around 20 rides on her. She is not for beginners. She has more go than whoa and will test an inexperienced rider. She comes with 2 blemishes, see, pictures, her ear drains and she has scars on the inside of her hock areas. She came to me like that and I have no history on her other than what I know. The vet has looked at them and neither of them are bothering her. She also paws when tied. We are currently working on that and she will need continued training on that. Now for the good stuff. She has good ground manners, she will lower her head to be haltered and bridled, you can walk up to her to catch her, she lunges, flex’s, yields her hindquarters and forequarters, good with a plastic bag moving all around her, and has a great back up on the ground. She saddles good, stands to be mounted and can be mounted and dismounted on either side, walk, trot and lope on loose rein, flex’s, yields hindquarters and forequarters, she is starting to rate my seat and will stop when you sit down in the saddle and we just started working on side passing on the fence. She has a current coggins, her teeth were floated in April, she is missing a few molars, and her feet were trimmed 7-24. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
