You can also use the rabbit manure to top dress any plants ( rosebush, trees, veggie garden)without burning the plants.
You can work the manure into your existing raised bed to refresh the nitrogen content without burning your plants. Or you can start working beds for your spring planting.
Soil settles over time, and veggie plants deplete the soil of vital nutrients like nitrogen, potassium, and phosphate over time. This natural, all-organic compost will add life back to your soil. It contains no chemicals or pesticides.
Rabbit pellets are wonderful gold nuggets that act like slow release fertilizer for your raised garden beds. They promote air circulation for young seedlings and invite worms to come in and aerate your soil. You can add it straight to your rose beds, fruit trees, garden beds without fear of "burning" your plants as the nitrogen amount is just right. Rabbit manure is praised for growing great garlic.

If you are interested in growing your own worms, rabbit manure is an excellent medium for worm bins. My rabbit compost is already full of worm castings and red worms.
Looking for soil? I have the perfect rabbit/goat manure loam, a perfect blend of aged manure, ready for your planting. It is choke full of red worms and red worm casting. $10/ bag- you bag your own ( option 7), $15/ bag if I bag for you.
Goat manure is very similar to rabbit manure. It's pellet perfect and a slow release fertilizer type that does not burn your crop.
Aged Chicken or quail manure is available also. This is a power punch for hungry established plants like tomatoes, squash, melons, watermelons.
Different Options for manure:
Option 1 ) $7/bag ( full 50 lbs feed bag-dirt is sold by volume, not weight. You can fill as much as you want of the feed bag)- you bag your own, pick up in Labadie. I provide the bags.
Option 2) $12 /bag with handles to carry home from the Tower Grove Farmer's Market or Midtown Farmer's market. This is 2.5 gallon worth of compost
Option 3 ) $14/bag -I bag for you and you pick up in Labadie.
Option 4) $18/bag-I bag for you and you pick up in Lafayette Square.
Option 5) $32/bag -I bag and deliver to you along the I-44 corridor between Labadie and Downtown St. Louis. Minimum order is 4 bags, delivered to your door. Delivery east of St. Louis is charged at $1/mile.
Option 6: tractor bucket load for a pick up bed or a trailer. This is only available in the goat's non-burning aged manure.
A trailer or truck bed full is $175. A tractor load hold 300 lbs.
Delivery is available for an extra $50 within the Saint. Louis metropolitan area. An additional surcharge of $1/mile if the distance is greater than 50 miles from Labadie. All deliveries must be prepaid.
Option 7: blended soil, ready to plant in. This is an aged rabbit or goat manure blended to perfection with peat moss and ready to be planted in. It is full of red worms! $15/bag- you bag your own.
Option 8: same as option 7 but I bag it and load it in your car/truck for you. $19/bag. Pick up at the farm in Labadie.
How many bags do you need? For top dressing, 3-4 bags for a 4x8 bed or 8 bags if you want a full bed. If I redo a whole bed, I till in some sphagnum moss ( 1 cubit foot) with the manure and you will have perfect soil next year.
What is the size of the bags that I provide? These are empty feedbags that hold 50 lbs of feed. They measure 28 in tall by 18 inch wide. You can fill it as high as you want. Depending on the weather, you might get more weight if the soil is wet or more fluff if the soil is dry, but you decide how much you want. I will provide the tools and bags, or you can bring your own tool if needed. I will provide the bags as a measuring device. I discourage use of your own containers.
Is delivery available? Yes under options 5 and 6.
Compost pick up is by appointment only. Please text to schedule a time. The best days are Monday through Wednesday, 2- 4 p.m.
Weekends hours are 12-2 pm.
Evenings are available upon request.
