We don't plant shrubs, put in mailboxes, or bury dead horses. Our only specialties are forestry work and land management and we're very good at what we do. Hundreds of clients over the years will attest to that.
Since Covid, there're a lot of weekend warriors buying machines and turning "pro" overnight with little or no experience. I'm a semi-retired engineer/geologist and rancher with decades of land reclamation and forestry experience. I know how to do these jobs right and I WILL get you the most bang for your buck.
Our equipment is specifically set up for this type of work and we offer multiple machine and attachment combinations to maximize our efficiency. Together we'll decide what's best for your project. The newbies have one machine and one head that magically does it all. Well, you can also clean crappie with a box cutter, but wouldn't you be faster and do a much better job if you used your fillet knife?? Using the right equipment for the job is how you get the most work done at the lowest price. We bring several attachments with each machine so we have the right tools for the job at hand. We can handle anything from scrub brush to 60" sycamore trees. Most of our work is done with new high flow Cat 299D3XEs, not the smaller models or the second tier stuff. We also use a dedicated FTX150-2, a forestry modded Cat excavator, or a Cat dozer. We run top of the line FAE mulchers, hydraulic tree saws, Kesla harvester heads, log grapples, Esco rippers, stump grinders, etc... Our CTLs run the largest mulchers that Caterpillar sells. (Just like lawn mowers, cutting width plus power = productivity). Way back we tried the white and orange machines and we quickly learned that the Cats and FTX150-2 have the best cost to productivity ratio out there. They outwork everything else we've ever ran without all the collateral damage we get when we run a dozer.
We do a lot of rural work- pastures, eradicating invasives like bush honeysuckle and autumn olive, brush or locust cutting, pushing back fence rows, cutting out cedars, timber improvement, trails, food plots, etc... but we're also totally SUBDIVISION friendly. We've opened up scores of backyards and subdivision roads/common areas. The kids and suburban deer love us. :)
