This is very unique gift that will be apricated by a person that is hard to buy gifts for. You have to have carpenter bees to understand how they can almost drive someone crazy.
Please state if you want cedar or pine traps. Made from quality cedar or pine new wood.
First three pictures are cedar carpenter bee traps.
Cedar traps are $30 each.
Pine traps are $25 each.
There's 28 brad nails in each trap along with 4 brass nails in the jar lid. The roof, floor and jar lids are not only nailed on but exterior glued because they support some weight of the trap. A dap of glue is applied in each nail hole on the roof to water seal the trap. Made to last.
The bees go in one of the holes in each side of the trap thinking it's a tunnel to nest in and will drill it out larger. Once in the trap the bees aren't happy and sees the light from the jar. Like all insects crawls to the light and drops in the jar. The entry holes are drill so very little light can bee seen in the trap from the jar. The bees stay trapped in the jar and aren't smart enough to fly out the way they came in. Unscrew the jar and empty out and screw back on. It may also hold some rain water. Traps are user friendly. Buyer supplies the wire for hanging. Eye screw is on the roof for hanging.
If located out of town can ship. Buyer pays some of the shipping.
We can meet some where safe. I like the Bass Pro Shop in St. Charles. Or a Quick Trip gas station close that I know has cameras in the parking lot. I will bring no money just my drivers license and the traps. Please have the exact cash.
