With all sadness the time has come for us to sell out the remainder of our Calico Red composite cow herd due to health issues and kids who don't wish to farm. We have spent over 75 years providing high-quality cattle, with the last 20 years devoted to the development of the "ideal beef cow," the Calico Red composite, through rigorous genetic selection and breeding.

Our herd is known for:
- EXTREME gentleness
- Easy calving (small calf size)
- Maternal strength (cows have high-and-tight udders with good milk)

We have been getting up to $15,000 for our animals, with current prices ranging from $4000 to $17,500. Because we would like to see the remaining 65 head sell as a group (hopefully to someone who would like to continue the Calico Red genetic breeding program), we are willing to reduce the purchase price to an average of just $6000 per animal. If one only wanted the females (take away the weaned bulls), there would be 52 head with an asking price of $6500 per animal.

Individual animals can still be purchased, but we would then be asking for the list price.
