Looking to share our good Dutch Hookbill ducks with people who will appreciate them. We have hatching eggs available for local pickup only, until we begin shipping when the weather is warmer.
Dutch Hookbills are listed with the Livestock Conservancy as critically endangered ducks. They are friendly outdoor birds, hardy in cold and heat, good and reliable layers spring through fall. They eat very little feed, especially if they have access to pasture, and they readily come back to their pen as it gets dark to be locked up safe. They will hatch their own ducklings, and are good moms and dads. We have snowy, bibbed, mallard, dusky, chocolate and a few other colors. Although the ducks are small, 3-4 pounds, their eggs are large, and range in color from pearl-white to blue-green.

Our flock is NPIP certified and AI-free. We are happy to transfer them to you with the National Poultry Improvement Program forms, in case you want to show them.
We showed our Dutch Hookbill ducks at the 2025 IL-MO Show, and received best of breed and reserve breed awards for our Dutch Hookbills.
Hatching eggs are $30/dozen.
Contact us to coordinate a good time and place to pick up your hatching eggs. We often meet with people to pick up eggs at Global Foods in Kirkwood, Missouri, but we are open to your suggestions.
