Caesar is still learning to stand quietly for the farrier but has come a very long way from the donkey he was when he first arrived. It has taken lots of training (and maybe a few treats...), but with patience and time, our farrier is able to trim all four feet without needing sedation! He will need an experienced handler to work with him to continue building his confidence for hoof trims.
Caesar gets along with other equine and tends to be on the lower end of the pecking order. His adopter should know that at his previous home, he was quite the escape artist! He will need strong fencing at his future home to ensure he won't pull another Houdini and disappear into the night! Caesar loves treats and does best with a single experienced handler. Caesar stands approximately 13.1 hands.
