I don't text. Cash only. John Deere X304 riding mower with grass catcher, 4 wheel steer, and hydro transmission. Grass catcher is easily removable without any tools. Has a 17 horse 2 cylinder FH491V Kawasaki engine. Just choke it, crank and let go of the choke basically as fast as you can and it'll start. (choke is spring loaded) Has a 42 inch deck in good shape, so are the blades. Has a good battery and tires hold air. The mower does everything its supposed to but has typical John Deere mower hood cracks. The tape on the hood was on it when I bought it. The 4 wheel steer is pretty impressive, it turns pretty sharp. You can mow around a building close and it makes the turn, and you don't have to backup to get closer to the building. I believe the hour meter isn't reading correctly because it starts and runs great and is a clean mower. To help prove that, I shut the engine off and turned the key on without it running and the hour meter time went up. So, I think someone left the key on, maybe ran out of gas and forgot to turn it off or tried to start it with a partially dead battery and left the key on. (battery in it is from December 2023 and is a John Deere brand) It shows 1278 hours. Bottom seat cover has cracks as shown. The deck pto bearing makes noise when not engaged which from what i found is common, and its not needing immediate attention. Looks to be the same mower as a x300 only an x300 has no steering in the rear. I try to check email once a day but not on weekends.
