Desperately Need A Home (Jefferson or St. Louis county)

I desperately need someone to work with me on a rental for my kids and I! I have 4 children, 3 with me full time. I would love to find a 3 bedroom that we are secure, safe, and comfortable in without feeling the need to move in the near future due to space and their ages but would be willing to make a 2 bedroom work. A year ago in August I left an abusive relationship and came back home to Missouri after spending 3 years in Florida completely isolated. I left with nothing but a suitcase and my 6 year old after he went to jail for DV. I worked extremely hard to earn enough to move into the apartment im in now. This past year has been the hardest that I have ever had. Over the last 4 months I have had non stop appointments and finally a surgery to remove a breast tumor, my youngest son has had health problems and just had surgery. Ive had to be a full time single parent while also working full time and trying to make it. This apartment has been non stop problems from the neighbors, management, close to $2000 in stolen packages which is how I was making extra income as an affiliate, and a huge infestation of brown recluse spiders. Because of the work I had to miss I fell behind on rent and 2 weeks after leaving a notice on my door about resigning my least at the end of July, they left another saying they were not letting me resign. I have no one, its just me and the kids. My credit is low, I owe on a mattress that my ex got in my name as well as charter for a modem (trying to be transparent) I am however an ideal tenant. Im clean and mind my business. Im just looking for help. We currently live in Fenton and my kids have been through so much the last few years. I want to try staying as close as possible to the friends they have made. They just lost all of the ones they had made while we were in Florida but will absolutely prioritize a roof over our head.
