Franciscan Ivy is a popular mid-century, embossed earthenware dinnerware pattern produced by Gladding, McBean & Co. in California starting in 1948. Famous for appearing on I Love Lucy, the pattern features hand-painted green ivy leaves on an ivory background. Early, more desirable pieces were made in California, while later versions were produced in England.
