Mexican hojalata (tin art work) is created by stamping, punching and cutting tin shapes.
Ours is punctuated with brass pegs at 4 corners and embossed flowers and sunrays. All show edges are hand punched to create a crafted border. The mirror is perfect clarity with no imperfection visible. the backside is sealed in tin with a solder hanger.
Mexican tin folk art can be found all over the country but the two most likely locations to find it are Guanajuato & Oaxaca; but we leave the origin guess unanswered
