6-Inch Tall Tawny Male Lion Head On Rock - Resin Sculpture - Detailed - $30 (St Louis)

A free-standing resin sculpture of a male lion's head on a rock, with glass eyes. The mane, face, and muzzle are all detailed and lead to a dignified appearance in natural tawny shades of brown and yellow. The back of the sculpture is not the back of the lion's head, but rather an unfinished-looking concavity textured as though bits of resin were carved away. This is intentional in the design, as the carvings merge into the texture of the rock. The sculpture is lightweight and features metallic brushstrokes as highlights on the mane; the rest of the finish is matte.
Used - excellent condition. There is a small scratch on the right eye of the sculpture, but it is not easily visible. Some areas look like the coloring has rubbed off, but this is a metallic highlight. The back of the sculpture shows carve marks and is intentionally unfinished.
