We are currently seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team, collaborating with the project manager and building team. The ideal candidate must be able to work collaboratively and possess a minimum of 10 years of experience. Additionally, the candidate must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and have a comprehensive knowledge of various carpentry and remodeling techniques. A significant portion of our projects involve custom decks, requiring the ability to work with raw and finish materials and possess a strong understanding of standard industry tools and equipment.
Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities
* Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications
* Take precise measurements and calculate material quantities
* Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements
* Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed
* Adhere to all company and governmental safety guidelines
Carpenter Requirements and Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 10 years of professional carpentry experience
* Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction
* Proficient in using electrical and hand tools, as well as measurement tools
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity
