Hello! I am a recent SIUE graduate looking for private violin/viola students in the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon area. I hold a Bachelor’s of Music in Violin Performance, and I have 17 years playing experience and 2 1/2 years teaching experience, both in private and group settings. I am Suzuki certified through violin book 8, and use this as well as a lot of other supplemental material in my lessons. I accept students aged 4 and older (adults are welcome too!) and can teach you or your child even if you are a complete beginner! I teach students of all levels up through high school for violin, and I teach beginners through Suzuki Book 3 for viola (at which point I will recommend a violist for your next teacher). Additionally, I specialize in teaching neurodivergent children (autism, ADHD, etc).

My rates are as follows:
$30 for a 30 minute lesson
$45 for a 45 minute lesson
$60 for a 60 minute lesson

I offer a free trial 20 minute lesson (one per student). I am located in downtown Edwardsville, just down the street from Lincoln Middle School. I teach primarily on Thursday afternoons and during the weekends. I also teach at the Webster University Community Music School on other weekdays, so if you are in the STL area you can register through them!
