Position Overview
Cabinet Assemblers construct custom architectural millwork, ensuring precision and quality. Responsibilities encompass reading blueprints, cutting and shaping wood, and assembling parts with appropriate tools.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Assemble millwork by accurately placing screws and bolts in designated holes to ensure structural integrity, in a timely manner that meets the production schedule and quality requirements.
Execute tasks meticulously and precisely to contribute to the organization's future growth and maintain quality standards.
Pay attention to detail to identify any repair or replacement needs, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Fasten joints and subassemblies together using screws, nails, or other adhesives.
Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and locks onto cabinets.
Sand and finish cabinets to ensure a smooth, polished surface.
Inspect finished cabinets to ensure they meet quality standards.
Clean and maintain tools and work area.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
Required Skills/Abilities
Must display a high degree of manual dexterity and have basic hand tool knowledge.
Must be able to read and use tape measure for precise measurements.
Must have a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing goals.
Must have strong math skills, focus, attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
Hours
1st Shift: M-F, 6:30am - 3:00pm
