This is the only kind of stuff I’d be interested in trading for… I have no interest in trading for junk or modern stuff….. unless it’s just a great offer, let’s hear what ya got,
Ok so here are the details on this tele. The important part here is…..The electronics and hardware are all original. She is players grade. I do not have the original neck, I was gonna list it just as the loaded body (which I’ve seen bring upwards of 9k)recently for same stuff.
This is a 1965 Fender double bound telecaster custom! All loaded and original, somewhere along the line, somebody stripped the paint and applied a veneer on the top … well done and the matched all the routes and refinished her. Very pretty, but to be honest, I don’t like natural wood colors and I’d rather trade her than to put the time and money into having it redone to my taste.
I have a nice neck that I got with it when I purchased. It’s a 60s reissue neck which I have been working on relicing, I can include it. Or I can keep it. I played it for hours before removing the neck to work on it. This thing sounds incredible! I havnt listed her to sell on reverb or anything, I just put it out as a feel for local guys who may have something I need and vice versa. If your into teles…. This one is special. I have a 62”, a 75, and about a dozen modern examples. Sound wise….. this one Trumps all of them. I know she’s special and could be the right guys wife guitar. That’s why I’m offering it up. It deserved to be out there. Not in a collection or hanging on the wall.
