Vintage Devry model 1966 motion picture tube sound amplifier conversion for guitar amp. Power supply caps replaced. Additional 6SQ7 tube gain stage installed for more volume and crunch. Tube tremolo installed for effect. Power scaling Variable voltage regulator (VVR) installed for variable adjustment of all tube plates and screens resulting in lowering output power and volume while maintaining tube saturation and compression . Approximately 50 watts 6L6 PP output. All tube,point to point wiring. Tubes tested with normal expected output. Good amount of clean headroom as well as some blues/rock crunch.
This is a heavy amp used as a head only and will need speaker (s). Amp is operational but sold AS-IS because of vintage status. Amp will be demonstrated on sale site with a speaker (not included).
