Think Flight of the Concords, Tenacious D, or the comedic styles of Bo Burnham and Trevor Moore...
Of all of the music projects I've been a part of, playing in comedy duo's has always been the most fun and the least stressful. I'm not at a point in life to take music too seriously, but I'd love to casually write, collaborate and maybe even perform in a duo again (or a small group).
I play guitar and have plenty of fun software and synthy gadgets for producing backing tracks or beats. Style-wise, I'm very open minded. Anything from acoustic indy/folk to EDM and hip-hop. I can also play rock and metal, but I tend to keep those genres in the studio rather than hauling equipment to live gigs. I struggle to complete songs on my own, but I've had success working with others in multiple collaborative efforts.
I'm a 36 year old husband and father with a normal 9-5 job, so my availability is typically limited to nights and weekends.
If any of this sparks your interest, I'd love to meet virtually (to start) and see if we vibe :-)
