If Baptists had a cathedral, a prime candidate would be Third Baptist Church in St. Louis’s Grand Center. Enjoying one of the city’s finest pipe organs and a Steinway concert grand, singers in the church choir perform eclectic repertoire in a wonderful sanctuary. The choir term resumes after Labor Day, and the repertoire may be found here: https://third-baptist.org/worship-music/music-worship/service-music
If you can read music and are interested in trying out the choir, contact the director of music. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings and sing on Sunday mornings.
